Since the construction of the Deegan Expressway in the middle of the 20th century, the Albany Crescent overlook has been an under-utilized strip of refuse-strewn pavement and overgrowth. In an effort to reimagine our urban landscape, KRVC developed a concept to turn the overlook south of W. 231st St into a temporary children's soccer arena replete with protective netting, seating and possibly even mobile food trucks.
