Accredited Financial Counselor Ana Gonzalez Ribeiro, MBA, AFC provided an in-depth presentation of the characteristics of savings and investment products, ways to invest in an IRA or a 401 K and a discussion of risk tolerance and how it affects saving and investment decisions. This very interesting and informative workshop sparked many questions and provided people with valuable insights into certificates of deposits, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, Exchange Traded Funds, savings accounts and money market accounts. Ms. Ribeiro shared many useful resources with the group and was able to answer individual questions from workshop attendees about their specific financial situations and focus on their interests.
