Recently, the Friends of the Hudson River Greenway in the Bronx launched a postcard drive in support of riverfront access for our community. Click here to fill out yours out online! For the next month, as the organizers promote RiverFest, we will also be collecting postcards throughout our community including at the Y Market each Sunday, in front of Starbucks on Johnson Avenue and in North Riverdale. Our goal is to collect 1000 postcards by the June Community Board 8 meeting and 2000 by the end of RiverFest. To draw attention to the RiverFest table and postcard drive, KRVC's Executive Director purchased a toy pirate ship to put the postcards in. The eye catching prop is a big hit with children and adults!
